I hope all is well on your patch of terra firma. Spring is frequently an active weather time here in Tennessee, especially thunderstorms. Thunderstorms mean lightning, and lightning does not play well with computers or modems. Why do I mention this? Glad you asked. When “active” weather is forecast for our area, Neuron Radio will revert to it’s back-up format, otherwise known as Basic Mode. In order to protect our webcasting system, we switch to a playlist of tracks kept on a server at Live365, our streaming host. When we do this, VIP listeners continue to hear music commercial-free, but Free listeners will hear short Ads placed in the stream by Live365. Listeners will also notice a gap between songs, unlike the nice crossfade transitions normally heard when Neuron Radio streams Live. In Basic Mode, our Show Schedule and Request System at http://neuronradio.net will be inoperative until we are able to revert back to Live mode. This is just a heads-up for all of our listeners, so you won’t have to wonder “what’s up?”
Neuron Radio is quickly transitioning to predominantly House music, but we will always play Jazz, RnB, soulful Oldies, and other cool music as well because we love it. Be sure to check our schedule to find out when your favorite genres are being featured. We don’t want you to miss a minute of the music you love.
Drop us a line at aubadge@neuronradio.net or give us a shout (the Shoutout box is right here on the station page), let us know how we’re doing….and thank you for listening!
